Privacy Policy
Version 0.1 (draft) · Effective OCT 06, 2026
Draft for legal review — not yet in force.
Who we are
The Asia Oceania Kyudo Federation (AOKYF) is the regional body for Kyudo associations in Asia and Oceania, being incorporated in Singapore as a company limited by guarantee. Contact us about privacy at info@ao-kyudo.org.
What we collect today
- Contact form: your name, email address and message.
- Abuse protection: a one-way fingerprint of your connection's IP address, so we can limit repeated submissions. We never store the address itself.
- Staff accounts: name, email address, roles and sign-in security data for people who manage this website.
Why we use it
To answer your message, to keep the website secure, and to protect it from spam.
Where it is stored
Our database and private files are hosted in Singapore. Public website images are delivered through a global content network. Emails are sent through our email provider.
Who we share it with
We do not sell personal data. We share it only with the service providers that run this website, and with a national Kyudo association only when your message concerns them and you agree.
How long we keep it
We keep contact messages only as long as we need them to respond and for our records. Abuse-protection fingerprints are deleted automatically once they are more than a day old, the next time the contact form is used.
Your rights
You can ask to see, correct or delete the personal data we hold about you by emailing info@ao-kyudo.org. We will appoint a Data Protection Officer on incorporation.
Member services
When member services launch, we will update this policy before collecting any member data.
